Our Process
Step 1: Surface Preparation
The concrete floor is mechanically ground using diamond grinders equipped with HEPA-filter vacuums to minimize dust and ensure proper adhesion.
Step 2: Floor Repairs
Cracks, pits, and spalls are repaired using specialized materials and tools to create a smooth, even surface.
Step 3: Epoxy Basecoat Application
A high-solids, self-priming polyurea basecoat is thoroughly mixed and applied evenly to the prepared surface.
Step 4: Flake Broadcast
Decorative polymer flakes are generously broadcast onto the wet basecoat to add color, texture, and slip resistance.
Step 5: Flake Removal and Scraping
Once the basecoat has cured, excess flakes and vertical-standing flakes are scraped off and vacuumed to create a consistent finish.
Step 6: Topcoat Application
A UV-stable polyaspartic clear topcoat is applied using a squeegee and roller, sealing the flakes and providing a durable, glossy finish.
